Government Flooring

PRACTICAL AND COST-EFFECTIVE GOVERNMENT FLOORING

Government buildings and public spaces are usually well-trafficked, which means you need a durable and easy-to-maintain flooring solution, but also a beautiful and functional design. Some of the older, more traditional government spaces feature stone or marble flooring, which can be expensive to install and maintain. Parterre’s LVT and commercial engineered hardwood flooring options come in a variety of cost-effective colors, textures and styles, so you can customize the comfortable look and feel of your space without going over budget.

From government buildings and courthouses to prisons, museums, fire and police stations, post offices, airports and libraries, Parterre offers flooring solutions for every space.

About Government Flooring

Beautifully Designed Flooring

Design & Style

Government spaces are comprised of important places where people converge in service, governance and support of society. When designing flooring for these spaces, we understand careful consideration of usage, activities, movement, maintenance and public funding is required.

The right government flooring doesn’t just have to be about functionality, durability and quality; as an interior surface it also can have a large impact in creating a comfortable, inviting space. Parterre’s collections offer a variety of design and color options, so you can tailor your flooring to match your desired goal. Pair Parterre’s commercial hardwood flooring with our InGrained LVT collection to create warm and inviting designs. Or opt for our Fused collection, which provides a variety of stone and metallic finishes to fit your needs.

Durability

Durability

Allocation of funds for capital projects and renovations is limited and greatly impacted by local, state and federal budgets. As such, durability and longevity are big factors when it comes to flooring selection, and the good news is that Parterre’s flooring solutions are engineered to last. LVT has a 20-year commercial warranty, while our engineered hardwood product have warranties ranging from five to 15 years, depending on the collection. From waiting areas and hallways to lobbies, meeting spaces and office spaces, Parterre’s durable options meet the everyday demands of any heavily traveled government space.

Maintenance

Maintenance

When it comes to choosing a flooring solution for a government building, you want something that’s easy to clean and maintain. As with any type of flooring, our products require proper maintenance and the occasional cleaning, which is especially true if used in a high traffic area that sees a large volume of visitors and employees. Fortunately, our products are easy to clean and maintain and made to withstand everyday use.

Value

Value

Parterre’s LVT and engineered hardwood flooring solutions are long lasting, which means a greater value in terms of cost savings. Our products have been proven to stand the test of time, which is especially important when it comes to choosing cost-effective design options for government spaces.

Sustainability

Parterre’s sustainable LVT products are phthalate-free, FloorScore® certified conforming to California Specification 1350 and California Proposition 65, LEED credit eligible and WELL credit eligible. In addition, Environmental Product Declarations (EPD), which communicates transparent and comparable information about the life-cycle environmental impact of products, and Health Product Declarations (HPD), which determines what products are comprised of and how they could affect human health, have been completed for Parterre products.

Our commercial wood flooring products are FloorScore® certified. This is a certification program that tests hard surface flooring and adhesive products for compliance with indoor air quality emissions.

Our hardwood products are also compliant with the U.S. Lacey Act, which is a conservation law that prohibits illegal practices when it comes to wildlife, fish and plants, and CARB Phase II, a California-based act that focuses on wood products and sustainability.

Certifications as well as summary of results are available upon request.
