Hospitality Flooring: Yakitori Yuchan

Yakitori Yuchan, an Izakaya-type restaurant designed by Benning Design Associates, is a cultural blend of American and Japanese styles with its culturally significant décor and furnishings—exuding a sophisticated, but casual and comfortable atmosphere. In an effort to stay true to the design vision, as well as finding a product that was both comfortable and durable, InGrained: Lancaster Weathered was installed throughout the bar and dining areas of this Davis, CA restaurant. Choosing one product allowed for a seamless transition between the two areas, though the bar area stands out on its own with the installation of Lancaster Weathered as a feature wall behind a row of high-top tables and along the exterior side of the bar underneath the counter.
