1. MakeOffices

Parterre luxury vinyl flooring was selected as the anchor design element for MakeOffices, a co-working space in Washington D.C. Designers at Gensler were tasked with designing a space that promoted creativity and collaboration, so they opted for a twist on the flooring choice and layout. To create different zones within the same space, Oak in Rain from the Vertu Luxury Vinyl Plank collection was chosen for its flexible color gradation — offering both warm and cool-toned planks. Gensler then installed Oak in Rain at a 45-degree angle to add energy to the office. Learn more about this unique vinyl flooring installation and see additional photography of MakeOffices here.

Though new, luxury vinyl plank designs Starry Oak and Harbor Oak had a blue-tinted, rustic look to them that paired well with items kept from the circa 1818 bank, like the teller window and safe deposit boxes.
