Dow and Parterre Go HardCore with Grid and GREAT STUFF

There’s truly no greater accolade than being the anchor of a design that supports a national brand. At Parterre, we mean that in the literal sense since our resilient vinyl tile flooring is the base of many great designs. In April 2009, The Dow Chemical Company debuted its new showroom featuring HardCore: Grid Malta 18” x 18” tile as a backdrop for its well known GREAT STUFF™ product line. The new space designed by Czarnowski features product displays, two conference rooms and an eight-foot tall, larger than life can of GREAT STUFF.

We are excited to be featured as an integral part of the new design at The Dow Building Solutions retail headquarters in Marietta, Georgia for the GREAT STUFF showroom. This space is utilized as a meeting space for both internal and external customers of GREAT STUFF. Dow’s Marketing Communications Manager, Janet Hansen, chose our premium vinyl flooring and treated it as a key design element for the space. Going along the lines of hip, urban trends, Parterre’s Grid was selected because of its modern concrete look and upscale color palette. “We selected Parterre for it’s high-end, contemporary style,” explains Hansen. “The upgraded flooring is the perfect link to our number one selling brand, and it coordinated well with the nearby carpet and red GREAT STUFF displays.”

Hansen continues by saying, “The flooring was treated as a key design element within the space. To really define the area, the floor was cut in a curved shape. The ceiling tiles, painted black with a red grid, were then arranged to mirror the shape of the floor. The result is a modern, energized space that invites customers to further explore the GREAT STUFF product line.”

Parterre’s durable flooring will continue to be the perfect solution for the GREAT STUFF showroom, even as the displays change and evolve with the brand. With its minimum maintenance and high-performance characteristics, this eco friendly flooring will undoubtedly stand up to the constant traffic and provide versatility for future of the GREAT STUFF product line.
