Does LVT stain?

Luxury vinyl tile and plank is naturally resistant to most common stains. It is recommended to test any product thought to have a potential of staining on a flooring sample prior to the application. Contact your Parterre Sales Representative for a Stain Resistance Chart and testing information.

If you are using walk off mats, avoid using rubber matting systems or anti-fatigue as the rubber of the backing can cause migration or plasticization when laid on top. Be sure to have a walk off area of at least 15 feet (though 30 feet is recommended) in order to reduce sediment being brought inside, including asphalt.
