For small scuffs and scratches, there are many simple fixes. Applying finish or vinyl floor sealer (after washing) will conceal most small to medium scuffs and scratches. Parterre also recommends a spot-repair kit that is available for purchase here.
If your damage is more severe than a scuff or scratch—something more like a gouge, cut or dent—there is still a solution. Instead of trying to repair the affected tile, you can simply replace it. (We typically recommend ordering an extra 5-10% of the square footage in case needed for cuts and tile-by-tile repairs.) If extra pieces are not available, ordering replacement tiles from the manufacturer should not be an issue. Either way, repairing and replacing LVT, while not something you’ll do often, is relatively an easy process.
